Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.Steve jobsStanford commencement speech, 2005

QOTD for Saturday
Today's quote is from the dynamic mind of Steve Jobs. It speaks volumes.
When you’re a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you’re not going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall and nobody will ever see it. You’ll know it’s there, so you’re going to use a beautiful piece of wood on the back. For you to sleep well at night, the aesthetic, the quality, has to be carried all the way through. ---Steve Jobs
This is so true. Even the piece of plywood that came with the last dresser I bought from a certain cookie cutter home store, is simply sitting behind the dresser vice being nailed into it. No one will see it, and if I don’t think about it I’m not disappointed in my cheap purchase choice. Design should always solve a problem and not become the problem.
